I know its the middle of the week and 'in my mailbox' is normally run on Sunday, but I've just started a new holiday job and worked for the last seven days in a row and today is my first free day! The most exciting thing that happened all week was receiving parcels in the mail, so here's what I got.
From the book depository I ordered Colapse by Jared Diamond, In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce (I used to own this one but lent it to a friend and never got it back :( ) and Mixed Magics by Diana Wynne Jones.
Also, I finally bought a copy of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and absolutely loved it. The next two are on my wish list and I'm thinking I'll have to spend some of my new hard earned money on them just to find out what happens next. I am so team Peeta.... no team Gale...... no team Peeta.......... no team Gale..................................................................... no I'm definitely team Katniss Everdeen. I wish her good luck and I'll will be happy with whichever lad she choses, or neither if she so wishes it that way........ almost completely happy any way for Peeta is such a puppy in love and Gale is an old friend who knows her best. (P.S I so cried every time Katniss thought or talked about her younger sister!)
And a big thank you to Dave Franklin for sending me a ARC of his new novel Girls Like Funny Boys. I won this book through Goodreads so a thank you also goes to them.
AND last but not least, I wish you all a wonderful weeks end and I hope your mail boxes are interesting and wonder filled.
Your mailbox looks awesome! I loved The Hunger Games, and adore Diana Wynne Jones, so I think you're in for a good time.
ReplyDeleteI love your cute blog design by the way. And your posts are fantastic, I'm definitely following you for more.

ReplyDeleteI also got a copy of THE HUNGER GAMES!! Don't get the second book without me, okay? Or at least hold off for a little bit before rushing off to the bookstore. ;)
